For no charge, these professing Christians will show up to any supposed haunted location and investigate the scene armed with ghost hunting equipment and spiritual warfare. Their website says that they do not get involved with seances, tarot cards, but they do use modern technological tricks to document their investigations. However, simple documentation is not their end goal.
The purpose of their endeavor is to help people deal with spiritual warfare. They are of the opinion that these things happen because of demonic or angelic forces, and they try to figure out which it is and how they can help. Counseling and prayer are their tools. Whereas an average paranormal investigator stops at observation, the Shield Investigators are only getting started.
They are also not afraid of demons.In paranormal circles, even the non-religious have heard scary stories about demons. The investigator who will enter any haunted house with bravado will always act with caution where demonic forces are rumored to be. Again, the Shield Investigators are above average. Citing their spiritual authority over demons, they march into these situations with confidence.

They are the only people I have heard of to actively seek out demonic activity, as most ghost hunters would rather do something else. Anything else. Who knew that the bravest paranormal investigators would be in church on Sunday morning?
